Self-cleaning Mechanism

Pulse-jet cleaning: Solenoid valves deliver 80–120 ms compressed-air pulses through venturi nozzles above each cartridge row.

Cleaning modes: Differential-pressure control, timed intervals, or manual activation.

Air consumption: 0.8–2.5 Nm³/min during active cleaning, with a supply pressure of 0.5–0.7 MPa. Consumption is referenced to 0°C and 101.3 kPa.

Continuous airflow: Sequential row cleaning keeps the remaining filter rows in service during the cleaning cycle.

Dust discharge: Collected dust falls into the hoppers and is removed through manual butterfly valves, weighted flap valves, or motorized rotary airlocks.

Filtration Performance

Media options: Cellulose-polyester blends, 100% spunbond polyester, and ePTFE membranes with zinc-plated steel mesh cores.

Filtration ratings: Media options are rated under ISO 16890 or ASHRAE 52.2. E10 media under EN 1822 is available as a separate option. Test reports for selected media grades are available on request.

Media limits: Selected ePTFE media supports continuous air temperatures up to 80°C and relative humidity up to 95% under non-condensing conditions. These limits apply to the media element, not the complete system.

Pulse cleaning: Reverse air pulses remove accumulated dust to help control operating pressure drop.

Filter Cartridge Service Life

Expected service life: Typically 12–24 months at inlet dust concentrations below 10 mg/m³. High dust loading may reduce service life to 6–12 months. Actual life depends on site conditions and operating history.

Cleaning restrictions: Use dry reverse pulse-jet cleaning only. High-pressure water and solvent cleaning can damage the filter media.

Wear parts: Diaphragms, solenoid coils, pressure transmitters, fuses, and door seals are listed in the spare parts catalog.

Maintenance
• Monthly: Drain and inspect compressed-air filters and water traps.
• Quarterly: Check pulse valve operation and diaphragm condition.
• Every six months: Inspect door gaskets and housing seals.

OEM & Customization Options

System Configuration: Customize filter housing dimensions, air inlet and outlet layouts, cartridge quantity, and access arrangements.

Materials & Surface Protection: Select carbon steel or stainless steel housing materials, with coating and corrosion protection options.

Control System Integration: Configure PLC brands, differential pressure monitoring, pulse-cleaning controls, and communication interfaces to match existing plant control systems.

Project Engineering & Validation: Review airflow requirements, installation drawings, foundation loads, and interface dimensions before production. Factory acceptance testing (FAT) can be arranged according to agreed project specifications.

FAQ

Q: What is the typical lead time?

A: Standard JLF-SC models ship in 6–10 weeks, while stainless-steel or custom units require 10–14 weeks. Installation of a 24-cartridge unit typically takes 3–5 days.

Q: What certifications and reports are available?

A: ISO 9001 manufacturing records and ISO 16890 or ASHRAE 52.2 media test reports are available. Control panels can also be supplied with CE marking upon request.

Q: How quickly are replacement cartridges available?

A: Standard cartridges typically ship within 7–10 days and arrive by air freight within 2–3 weeks in most regions. One spare set per two installed units is recommended.

Q: How do temperature and altitude affect model selection?

A: Required intake capacity increases by approximately 3.5% per 10°C and 12% per 1,000 m of altitude.

Q: What does ePM1 85% mean?

A: Under ISO 16890, ePM1 85% indicates at least 85% efficiency for particles in the 0.3–1 μm range, helping protect compressor impellers and heat exchangers from fouling.

Q: Can the filter be retrofitted?

A: Yes. A transition piece and support frame can be designed to match existing DN600–DN1800 duct flanges.

Q: How does the filter handle rain, fog, and snow?

A: Weather hoods and drain louvers help prevent rain and snow ingress, while hydrophobic ePTFE media resists moisture loading.
